Artist

Brenden Gerber is a photographer, print maker, and writer from the United States and is currently based in Saigon, Vietnam. Brenden graduated with a degree in the fine arts from the University of Minnesota, United States. He also studied the first arts at the Universidad Complutense, Spain. After college Brenden worked as the head art instructor at SparkPark in Philadelphia, United States. At the newly opened youth art school he developed programs in ceramics, print making, woodworking, and photography. Brenden also taught a variety of courses to students of all ages and abilities. Brenden has always been inspired by children for the way their untainted eyes see the world with genuine curiosity and are unaffected by preconceived notions of how things ought to be. As a photographer Brenden tries to use this inspiration to find beauty in unusual places that may otherwise go overlooked.
